This beautiful silk butterfly is the perfect meaningful keepsake gift. Expertly personalised with an image of your choice.
Many people contact me to say a butterfly has landed on them after the passing of a loved one, my Memory Butterflies are a lovely way to mark that connection and make beautiful keepsakes and gifts.
I make lots of these for Brides to add into their wedding bouquets so that 'Mum' or "Grandma' can walk down the Aisle too.
These also make a lovely 12-year Anniversary gift as they are made from silk, I can add images from your wedding day to the wings too!
The silk is gently treated so the butterfly holds its shape and to prevent them from fraying and to ensure your butterfly stays in perfect condition for many years to come.

2. Re positional Glue dot (Best if you are thinking of framing your butterfly)

1. Script - a subtle cursive style handwriting (you cannot read the individual words)
2. Floral - a pretty floral flourish.
3. Plain - no extra pattern.
The gift card has the quote 'Those we love don't go away' on the back, if you prefer a blank card for you to write your own message please message me when you send the photo.
I can't print custom quotes on the card, if you require a custom message please add this a 'gift note' with your order and it will print on the packing slip.

Each butterfly measures approximately 9cm across, but I can make them slightly smaller or larger if required.
Each butterfly comes presented in a beautiful hand stamped matchbox style gift box with a gift card as pictured, they make beautiful gifts and are light and easy to send in the post.

The best images to use have a light background and a high resolution, but I can work with older photos and those with cracks or damage. Just be aware that the finished result may not be as clear as with a good quality one. Screen shots tend not to work very well due to their small file size, nor do photos of photos, a scanned in image works best.

All the sizes are on the descriptions, but if you were wanting a custom size thats no problem, message me with your ideas!
Care instructions
My butterflies and moths are hand cut from silk and should be treated with care. Please don't get them damp or wet. They are gently treated to prevent fraying and should last for many years. They may require a light press with an iron or hair straighteners if they begin to curl. Keep them on their gift cards when not in use.

International Shipping & Tracking
International orders can be tracked by entering the tracking number supplied in your dispatch email into your own countries postal web sites. For example USPS.com or CanadaPost.com.

Custom and personalised orders
Shipping upgrades are available at checkout. For UK orders I use Royal Mail Special Delivery and FedEx is available for International orders. Please message me for more details
Shipping times
I normally ship within 3 days of the order being placed, custom personalised orders may take a little longer. Etsy quote 'Delivery ESTIMATES' at busy times of the year this may be longer than estimated.
